My Footprints in Madrid, Barcelona and Mataro, Spain

February 2008, arrived Spain this time to a remote city called Mataro where I would be staying for 2 months. Honestly I did not know what to expect. Along the way I, stayed at Barcelona and Madrid which was at the exact opposite end. The first thing that I noticed was the splendor of the rich histiry and architectural design.. Above, the Unfinished Basillica of Gaudi... Went there 3 times and still never though it was enough....

One of the greatest experiences when you travel is when you meet people along the way. Here I am blessed to know Catherine and Amy from Tunisia and Gulay from Emirates and of Course Bob our Instructor and his lovely wife Margot who unfortunately had to take this pic.

When you travel overseas you tend to be comfortable to eat in a place where you become familiar. This was my favorite, the Tapas Guadi.... I had difficulties reading Spanish so I stuck to the usual which I knew was safe to order... One potato salad with Seafood Tapas and a bottle of Red Wine to keep me warm.

It always meant a lot and it felt different to attend Mass Church Services in Spain where somehow it felt different... Service was in Spanish, but the prayers came from the Heart...

Another good friend who was as much of a fanatic when it comes to Shopping.... Where to find us...ZARA. By the way Mimosa, I still have the trench coat you strongly recommended me to buy..

Mimosa again, recharging before she storms into the next shopping mall......

Another day in the City in Barcelona....

Overall Spain over and over again has been quite an adventure, always something nice to see although I cant say much for the poeple especially in the Cataluna area... I suppose it simply a Spanaish thing...The food was different but the wine and drink is always available.... Via Espanyola. Chiao....
